Named after the Tenkillers, a prominent Cherokee family, who operated a ferry service near where the dam now stands, Lake Tenkiller is Oklahoma's only clear water paradise.

The nearly 13,000 acres of clear waters, and 130 miles of scenic shoreline with rocky banks and rock bluffs above and below the water, provide a great variety of scenic beauty as well as opportunities for water sports activities and recreation.
